Sebastiaan responds to a viewer's question about how to do EFT tapping in public.

He demonstrates "finger tapping", a less noticeable method of tapping on your fingers than tapping on the usual EFT tapping points.

However, using this technique to get rid of Social Anxiety in a social situation will not be as effective as traditional tapping.

Sebastiaan advised that finger tapping will work better if done simultaneously with the intention to accept and allow the anxiety to happen.

Sebastiaan introduces the "What If... So What?" technique. This is extremely helpful when dealing with negative thoughts and anxiety.

This technique involves questioning the significance of potential negative outcomes and approaching them with a "so what?" attitude.

This technique:
- reduces the intensity of Social Anxiety
- make you suffer less
- has anxiety leave faster when it gets triggered

This technique will not solve your Social Anxiety. However, it will help you achieve acceptance. And acceptance is one of the 3 keys to Social Ease.

He explains the importance of acceptance and being okay with whatever might happen. You can achieve a state of freedom and stop being controlled by previously feared situations by gradually accepting and letting go of your fears.

Sebastiaan also elaborated on how his mentors and the study of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) greatly influenced his teachings on acceptance.

During the challenge, participants were asked to tap along with a guided visualization to imagine themselves being socially at ease. 

Jeffrey was initially nervous about this exercise, but it helped him realize that he could change and that there was hope. He began to release the emotions associated with this thought while tapping, which led him to realize that he could change.

Sebastiaan shares three tips for dealing with silence in a conversation.

He begins by telling a personal story from two decades ago about approaching a girl on the bus. He shares how he struggled with the awkward silence in this social situation. He describes how this made him cringe, self-conscious, and feel hugely pressured to fill in the silence.

He explains the 7 common reasons why we struggle with silence in a conversation:

1. Worrying
2. Fear of awkwardness
3. Pressure to fill in the silence
4. Self-consciousness
5. Misinterpreting
6. Fear of negative judgment
7. Insecurity of your social skills

He then teaches three quick fixes for dealing with and being at ease with silence.

While these tips can be helpful when you're already in a social situation, he highlighted that these are just surface-level tips.
