This interview with former Social Anxiety sufferer and Social Confidence Club member is 100% impressive - it’s the recording of our recent event where he joined LIVE to share his journey out of Social Anxiety. 
 
We never get tired to point out how special it is for former Social Anxiety sufferers to publicly share their journeys, insights, and transformation. To do this completely unscripted and live in front of an unknown audience is next level. Respect Jan!
 
Sebastiaan and Jan talk about his experience of suffering from Social Anxiety, typical thoughts that plagued him, and how he felt limited in countless ways:
 
“There were many things I wanted to do, that I couldn't do, that I didn't do, or that I couldn't do as much as I would have liked to.” 
 
They dig into his healing journey, which started off with a few sessions with Sebastiaan, and years later he joined the Social Confidence Club:
 
“I’m not saying this lightly, because Social Anxiety was a really, really big thing for me. And I felt so hopeless. I was like, I'm never going to overcome this. Well, and I'm very sure that this Club helped me so much.”
 
Lastly, Jan gives detailed insights on where he is now with his Social Anxiety, and how his new life looks like.
 
He says:

“I had this anxiety for such a long time, a decade. And it took me so much effort and energy to overcome it. But now it almost feels as if it's something from the past. Things such as getting invited to a party or going on a date or meeting colleagues, or friends I haven't seen in a long time just feels like something I actually like, and I'm not worried what is this gonna happen… 
 
I'm just looking forward to most situations, instead of dreading them. I feel I'm a lot more happy with myself. And I'm a lot more at ease with myself, which is for me a very personal observation. But that is, for me  a very important marker of success.”

Becca shares her personal experience with Social Anxiety, which became severe after she became a mother and had to mingle with other parents at her children's school. She found relief through Seb’s self-paced program but got stuck until she joined the Social Confidence Club.
